all wine consumers, to create a more sustainable and healthy wine industry.

Is to provide consumers relevant wine recommendations from other consumers who
share similar affinities and passions.
What this is about...
This is the second year for the Consumer Wine Awards at
Lodi, and the
fifth year of a series of tasting events designed to refine and improve the
consumer wine evaluation process. Executed by Diversity Wine Awards LLC, in
partnership with the Lodi Tokay Rotary Club, proceeds from the event are used by
Rotary for local and international service projects.
The Consumer Wine Awards at Lodi
recognizes and celebrates the fact that every person has unique physiological
and sensory differences that profoundly affect wine and food preferences. .
The Consumer Evaluators assessing the wines in each category
will be the very consumers who are most inclined to buy and enjoy the wines of

We have engaged a global research team and are also
conducting several formal research projects that are at the core of both our
methods for assessing the wine as well as creating innovative ways to provide
consumers with an alternative means for confidently exploring and enjoying new
wines. The results of the 2010 study are available HERE!
What are the key
dates?
- January 4, 2012 - First Day for receiving entry applications and wines (or
labels)
- February 24, 2012 - Last Day for accepting entry applications and wines (or
labels)
- March 17-18,2012 - Competition to be held at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi,
California
- April 27, 2012 (Tentative)- Awards Ceremony to be held at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi,
California
